Bill Stewart is the 32nd football coach of West Virginia Mountaineers football. Bill was named the WVU head coach on January 3, 2008, just one day after his 48-28 victory over the Oklahoma Sooners in the Fiesta Bowl while serving as interim coach.
Before becoming the head coach he was an assistant coach at WVU from 2000 to 2007.
Concluding the 2009 season, Stewart is a combined 19-8 in his first 2 seasons as head coach.
